Our instructors have been through factory training courses in each of the aircraft they instruct. We have an excellent safety record and each student receives one-on-one flight and ground instruction. You learn at your own pace and the instructor will decide each lesson.

Private Pilot

Be at least 17 years of age
FAA Medical Certificate 3rd Class
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Flight requirements by the FAA are 40 hours; although the average completion time is around 50-60 flight hours.

Commercial Pilot

Certified Flight Instructor

Be at least 18 years of age
Hold either a commercial pilot certificate or airline transport pilot certificate
FAA Medical Certificate 2nd Class
Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language
Flight requirements 15 to 25 hours of training
Written Exams-Fundamentals of Instruction and the Flight Instructor helicopter
Practical & Oral Test with FAA Designated Examiner

Airline Transport Pilot

Be at least 23 years of age
Hold at least a commercial pilot certificate and an instrument rating
FAA Medical Certificate 1st Class
Be able to read, speak, write and understand the English language
Be of good moral character
Flight requirements 1,200 hours of total time as a pilot that includes at least:

1. 500 hours of cross-country flight time.
2. 100 hours of night flight time, of which 15 hours are in helicopters.
3. 200 hours of flight time in helicopters, which includes at least 75 hours as a pilot in command.
4. 75 hours of instrument flight time in actual or simulated instrument meteorological conditions, of which at least 50 hours are obtained in flight and at least 25 hours in helicopters as a pilot in command

Foreign License Verification

Pilots applying for a FAA certificate issued on the basis of a foreign license must have the validity and currency of the foreign license and medical certificate or endorsement verified by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) that issued those certificates.

It is recommended that the pilot allows at least 60-days for the verification procedure.

The applicant may submit the required information going to www.faa.gov click licenses & certificates then under Airmen last one says “more” (airmen certification information) click there and then click to download form under Verify the Authenticity of a Foreign License, Rating, or Medical Certification. The applicant sends:

  • the completed form;
  • a copy of their foreign license;
  • a copy of their foreign medical;
  • an English translation of these documents (if applicable); and
  • a copy of a photo ID (preferably the photo page of their passport) by mail to:

When the FAA in Oklahoma receives verification from the country in which a license was issued the applicant will receive written notification that a copy has been forwarded to the Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) designated we will let you know which one to choose.

The verification letter is valid for 6 months. The pilot must have a valid verification letter in order to add an instrument rating to a restricted Private license, and/or to take an FAA Commercial checkride.
